Can anyone ride The Pie-Eyed Parrot Cruise?
No. The cruise is designed for adults 21 years of age and older. All passengers must have a valid ID to board. 21 and older only.
Where are you located?
The Pie-Eyed Parrot is located at Papa’s Port on the Marshwalk directly behind the Claw House restaurant. 4097 Highway 17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 * Check in on the dock at the Happy Hour Boat directly behind the Claw House on the Marshwalk.
Where Do I Park?
Parking is free. Directly across the street from the Dead Dog Saloon is our parking area.
When Are Your Cruises, and How Do I Buy Tickets?
Cruise times vary throughout the year. During the main season, we run multiple times daily. Please visit PieEyedParrot.com for times and to book tickets online. Walk-up tickets are on a first come, first served basis and can be purchased right at the boat prior to the cruise if there is availability remaining. . * Online pre-booking is strongly encouraged.
When should I Check in?
Check-in and dock party begin, and the bar opens 90 minutes prior to departure. *HINT: If you arrive early, you will not have to wait in a long line. *You must be checked in 45 minutes Prior to departure time. The time on your ticket is the departure time. We must have everyone onboard before gates close, so please arrive during the check in process, or you will be marked as a no-show. Once our boarding gates and ramp are closed, you will not be able to board; you must be boarded 45 minutes prior to departure.
What is included in the Happy Hour Cruise?
The cruise includes a USCG-certified master captain and crew, as well as a cash bar and serving staff to take care of all your needs. The cruise lasts around 90 minutes. We keep our prices the lowest at the beach; drinks are not included in your boarding fee.
Is there food and drinks for purchase?
Yes. The Pie-Eyed Parrot Happy Hour cruise offers a cash bar and appetizers for your enjoyment. * No outside food or beverage is allowed aboard The Pie-Eyed Parrot Happy Hour.
Can I bring additional items onboard?
No. We are restricted by weight requirements, and we do not permit backpacks, gym bags, or large purses. Only small handbags or waste bags are permitted. No larger than 7”x 10” bag. All bags are subject to search prior to boarding.
Is there a restroom onboard?
Yes. The Pie-Eyed Parrot Happy Hour Cruise has a restroom onboard.
Is Smoking Allowed Onboard?
No, smoking is not permitted.
Do you have a dress code?
Please dress appropriately, casual or dressy attire. No thong bathing suits with coverups. Wear boat shoes or other footwear with good traction to prevent slipping on the deck and/or steps. NO Stiletto Heels or Heels of any kind on top deck. Recommended to pack a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun.
What about the weather?
All cruises run rain or shine, and in the event of inclement weather, The Pie-Eyed Parrot Happy Hour Cruise shall, at its sole discretion, determine if such conditions will cause the cancellation of any cruise or cruises. In the event that a cruise is cancelled for any reason, The Pie-Eyed Parrot Happy Hour Cruise will either reschedule passengers on the next available cruise in which spots are available or issue a refund. We typically make every effort to get underway. Weather often changes at the last moment, making early cancellations nearly impossible. In the event of a cruise being cancelled more than one hour in advance, our cruise coordinator will contact you by email.
Do You offer group rates?
No, we offer the lowest price on cruises in all of South Carolina and do not offer any additional discount.
How Can I Cancel My Reservation?
There is a 72-hour cancellation; all reservations must be cancelled 72 hours prior to departure time to receive a refund for your tickets. You must email the name, time and date of the requested cancellation, and we will process a refund back to the credit card used during booking. All emails must be received prior to the cruise time. 72-hour cancellation period.
Is the boat wheel chair accessible?
Yes , the PieEyedParrot was designed to accommodate a wheelchair on board, However keep in mind that the ramp from the Marshwalk to the dock is dictated by the tides and can be very steep at low tides. Please give us a call a few days prior to your anticipated cruise date so we can help you choose the right time and make arrangements with the cruise coordinator to accommodate seating.
